There is not enough
We get it, times are hard, for so many people in our community. The Helping Hand Food Pantry is here to help. In Madison County, over 20,000 people do not have the funds to pay their bills and buy enough food for their family.
At the Helping Hand Food Pantry, we strive to provide as many of our neighbors as we can with nutritious food as a way to show the love that Jesus Christ has for all of his children. Contact us to find out how you can volunteer with us today!
Feeding thousands of families
With $100 in donations, we are able to feed approximately 50 families. Throughout 2014, we distributed 320,747 pounds of food and were able to provide 5,714 families with access to much-needed nutrition.
Every cent that’s donated is used to purchase food. Whether you’d like to donate your money or your time, there’s a way you can help. Volunteers include members of Anderson Preparatory Academy, Dove Harbour, Anderson Morning Rotary, and Blue River Church.
Opening hours and details
The Helping Hand Food Pantry is open the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, excluding holidays. To receive assistance, pick up a ticket in the church parking lot between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM each pantry day.
