Glorifying God and Sharing the Transforming Love of Jesus Christ with Everyone
PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN (Sunday’s 9:30 am)
“Learn from the Bible to Live the Good News”
This study is filled with Bible stories children love to hear and recite. There are posters and craft ideas with each lesson to help them understand the deeper meaning of the significance at their learning level.
FIRST THROUGH FIFTH GRADE__(Sunday’s 9:30 am)
This class is beginning an adventure with Abraham and his family. They will also be examining a way to understand and use your Bibles. Every Sunday gives us an opportunity to learn something new and create a project that enriches our relationship with God.
6TH-8TH GRADE – Confirmation Class (Sunday’s 9:30 am and additional classes/retreats/functions)
Youth learn together the basic Lutheran understanding of Lutheran History, the Ten Commandments, Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, Holy Baptism, and Holy Communion. We also spend time exploring the Old and New Testaments and their application to our everyday life.
Adult Sunday School (Sundays 9:30 am) & Tuesday Morning Bible Study (Tuesdays, 7:30 am)
This fall we are studying the Acts of the Apostles, a book about how the Holy Spirit worked in the early church through faithful disciples, committed communities, and blessings disguised as challenges. In our time together, we will meet the ordinary people that God worked through to accomplish extraordinary things: miraculous healings through Peter and John, just-in-time escapes made possible by the unnamed friends of Paul and Barnabas, powerful preaching through newly identified leaders like Stephen, hospitality extraordinaire through Lydia, and humorous moments with innocent servants like Rhoda.
Wednesday Afternoon Bible Study (Wednesdays, 1:30 – 2:30 pm)
“Discussing Mere Christianity: Exploring the History, Meaning & Relevance of C.S. Lewis’ Greatest Book”
We discover together why Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis has become one of the most read and beloved Christian books of all time. Originally given as a series of public talks on BBC radio during the war years of 1941-1944 and then published together in 1952, C.S. Lewis engages us in a discussion of the basic tenants of the Christian faith for those who already call themselves Christian and for those who do not.
KID’S CHURCH – ages 4 and up –( offered during Sermon time each Sunday morning)
Kid’s Church will be continuing their journey with Moses and the Israelites to the Promised Land and learning about Joshua and the battle of Jericho. We are busy learning about stewardship and using our time, talents, and treasures for the Lord’s work.
